Shipyard is located on right bank of man made lake on Danube, between dams "Djerdap I" and "Djerdap II". Strategic position, advantage of river level control and shipyard's equipment enable uninterrupted and quick interventions on inland as well as sea going vessels, ship lifting capacity on sleep way up to 3800 tons (145m length and 24m width).

Shipyard KLADOVO "Rhine-Danube doo", main activity is shipbuilding, ship-repair, ship-conversion and overhaul of vessels in operation.

Shipyard was privatized in June 2004 by means of public auction having Dutch -Romanian majority shareholders. Starting from May 2005, SHIPYARD KLADOVO - member of Foreign Investment Council, established as government association of the majors foreign investors in Serbia.

Privatization process involved company reorganization and investment in production capacity development. Following up to the Shipyard KLADOVO "Rhine-Danube doo", Investment Program until the end of 2005 has performed an investment in amount of 2,4 million EUR in purpose for:
- new workshop no. 1 (preassembling and prefabrication), 80m length still in progress
- new workshop no. 2 (ship assembling), 125m length -still in progress
- steel plates work store
- workshop lifting and transferring equipments

Purchase of modern equipment for new technology application (automatic welding system, ceramic welding device, plasma cutting machine, water cutting machine, new compressed air system, press machine, etc)

Strategic market analyzing for business and production plan definition.

Quality control in accordance with European standards, IOS 9001, Classification Societies in Shipbuilding (Lloyd, Germanischer Lloyd, Det Norske Veritas) Standards.
